Spring ACT’s team is growing and we could not have done it without your support. We are proud to introduce our new team members joining us remotely from the United Arab Emirates, Nigeria, Kenya, and Malaysia, who are all going full-steam ahead in helping us fight global social injustices!

Clarina-BianchiIn 2021, Clarina Bianchi joined us part-time as a volunteer and was absolutely crucial in helping us fundraise our first funds which allowed us to launch Sophia. It means a lot to all of us that Clarina has now joined us as part of our core team. Clarina is a gender equality and gender-based violence expert from Zürich, Switzerland. She studied Social Anthropology and has experience working around the world on gender-based violence, domestic violence, migration, and sexual and reproductive health and rights. Clarina has worked for the UN in India, where she trained the police on gender-based violence. She is also the co-founder of Glocal Steps which helps refugees with their job market integration. Clarina is passionate and detail-oriented and loves working in a fun, motivated team, like at Spring ACT. After representing Switzerland at the Expo 2020 in Dubai, she is now back with us as the Programme Manager for Sophia and is excited to bring Sophia to every person in need.


Nephi Awugelenu recently graduated with a BSc in Civil Engineering from ​​Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria Kaduna Nigeria. Throughout his studies, he was the coach of his departmental college football team and also gained work experience in different areas such as public relations, sales, and finance. At the beginning of the year, Nephi then first joined our fundraising team as a volunteer. Nephi loves working with people and achieving a collective goal as a team and thoroughly enjoys constantly learning. He has now joined as our Operations Associate to collaborate across the different ACT teams and support them with the implementation of the diverse project parts.

Eva Kirichu is a Marketing and Communications professional from Kenya. She has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a Minor in Public Relations and Communications. She is passionate about human rights with a keen interest in gender equality. Eva is interested in optimising digital marketing strategies to fight social injustices and help make the world a safer place. At Spring ACT, she leads the communications team and coordinates all the different aspects that help us amplify our message to reach more people in need of our chatbot Sophia.


Simon Sundaraj Kühn is the Fundraising and Business Development Manager at Spring ACT. His academic background in Diplomacy, Military Studies, History, Political Science, and Classics Studies, combined with a life-long learning attitude, keeps him constantly evolving to find new solutions to the world’s challenges. He worked as a strategic consultant and volunteer in a variety of non-governmental organisations over six continents in diverse cultures, organisations, and sectors. At Spring ACT Simon is taking charge of our fundraising activities and also volunteers in our Pride Committee, which works to foster LGBTQIA+ diversity, equality, and inclusion within Spring ACT and the global community. He is an active wildlife and landscape photographer, an avid reader and an outdoors person (especially winter sports enthusiast). Simon says that “patience, persistence, and positivity open endless possibilities if you are willing to fight and win for justice.”
