We’re looking for a Fundraiser: Switzerland

Our vision is to empower people through innovative technologies to take action and help eliminate global social injustices. Spring ACT – Action. Compassion. Technology. – is a Swiss-based global non-profit organisation run by a dedicated and diverse team, based on our values here. Last year, we developed and launched one of our projects: “Sophia” – the world’s first chatbot empowering survivors of domestic violence to gather potential evidence and seek help in 222 countries and in multiple languages:

Our aim is to ensure that we can offer long-term, active support to survivors of domestic violence through Sophia, regardless of where they are in the world. We are looking for you to join our international team and help us secure sustainable funding to bring help to more people in need.

The fundraiser will be in charge of ensuring the sustainable income of funding for our projects and organisation. This includes researching and drafting strategic grant applications, helping us grow our members base, and identifying new fundraising opportunities and partnerships. 

Role in more detail

Grant Applications

  • Research potential grants that Spring ACT and its projects are eligible for.
  • Coordinate, draft, and review grant applications.
  • Establish contacts with foundations, cantons, cities, and municipalities


  • Help create a strategy for our membership drive.
  • Consistently increase the number of new members of Spring ACT.

Major Donors

  • Identify, attract and manage new donors to expand Spring ACT’s portfolio.
  • Identify private donors as major donors and help manage this growing segment.​​


  • Established experience fundraising in Switzerland.
  • Familiarity with the fundraising ecosystem in Switzerland and how to successfully obtain funding for non-profit organisations.
  • Strong writing skills in German and/or French. 
  • Strong organisational skills, who doesn’t lose sight of the bigger picture even in a dynamic and constant process of change.
  • Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment of a young start-up.
  • Dedicated to helping eliminate global social injustices.

We are offering a Swiss employment contract and the percentage (20% – 40%) can be adapted according to the needs of the successful candidate. The candidate must already be allowed to work in Switzerland. Compensation is offered in accordance to the successful candidate’s qualifications.
