YOUR ROLE:
You will join our international and passionate team to increase our impact and:
- Secure Funding: Develop and execute strategies to secure funding for Chatbot Sophia and other organisational projects, ensuring long-term sustainability.
- Research Fundraising Opportunities: Proactively identify new funding sources and trends in philanthropy, with a focus on opportunities that align with Spring ACT’s vision and needs.
- Grant Writing: Craft compelling grant proposals, tailoring applications to the interests and requirements of diverse funders, including foundations, government entities, and international donors.
- Private Sector Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, exploring sponsorship opportunities and corporate giving.
- Membership Management: Manage and expand membership programs, ensuring they provide value to members while also supporting our funding objectives.
- Campaign Development: Create and implement innovative fundraising campaigns that engage a variety of donors and stakeholders, leveraging multiple fundraising channels for maximum reach and impact.
- Sustainable Funding Model Development: Assist in building a self-sustainable funding model, strategising long-term financial stability to ensure that our projects continue to thrive and expand their reach without sole reliance on traditional funding sources.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Experienced Fundraiser: You have a proven track record of successful fundraising, with extensive experience in securing significant funds through various channels such as grants, corporate partnerships, and major gifts.
- Strategic Thinker: You are adept at strategic planning and have a keen ability to identify and pursue fundraising opportunities that align with organisational goals.
- Skilled Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German or French is a plus), with the ability to craft persuasive narratives for grant applications and donor communications.
- Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills with a history of building and maintaining relationships with partners, donors, and professional networks.
- Innovative Campaign Planner: Experienced in creating and leading diverse fundraising campaigns, using innovative approaches to engage donors and achieve fundraising targets.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
- Commitment to Mission: A deep commitment to social justice, human rights/survivor-centred approach and a passion for using technology to address global challenges. You resonate strongly with Spring ACT’s mission and are driven to contribute to empowering people globally.

CONTRACT AND SALARY
This is a remote position (outside of Europe) and the percentage (50% – 100%) can be adapted according to the needs of the successful candidate. We are offering a freelance contract. Compensation is offered in accordance to the successful candidate’s qualifications and national salary standards of where they are based, as we are recruiting outside of Switzerland.
