Are you passionate about using your game design skills to make a real-world impact? Join our Comeback CatZ team as a volunteer Game Designer and use your creativity to combat sexism. As part of the CATivists, you’ll help develop engaging, interactive games that challenge societal norms and promote gender equality.
Responsibilities:
- Design and prototype new gaming features focused on empowerment and education.
- Work collaboratively with our team of developers and content creators to integrate powerful narratives and learning objectives.
- Apply your knowledge of game mechanics to create fun and impactful user experiences.

Do you have a knack for comedy and a passion for social justice? We’re looking for volunteer Comedians to join our Comeback CatZ initiative, where humour meets activism. Help us use humour to spark critical conversations and change. Your voice can turn laughter into a powerful weapon against sexism!
Responsibilities:
- Create original content that humorously highlights issues of gender inequality and challenges sexist norms.
- Collaborate with our team to produce sketches and social media content that resonates with a diverse audience.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to innovate new ways to use comedy as a tool for global change.
Your Profile:
- Experience in comedy writing, stand-up, or performance, with a sharp wit and a keen sense of social nuances.
- Passionate about using humour as a form of activism to address serious issues.

Ready to lead and innovate for social change? As a volunteer Product Manager with our Comeback CatZ initiative, you’ll drive the development of digital tools that empower individuals to challenge and overcome sexism. Use your skills to manage a product that makes a difference and created impactful change!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the roadmap and development of new features for the Comeback CatZ app.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and activists to ensure product goals are met and align with our mission.
- Gather and analyse user feedback to continuously improve the app’s effectiveness and reach.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience in product management, preferably in tech or social impact projects.
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
- A commitment to feminism and social justice, with a drive to create innovative solutions that challenge gender norms.

To move forward as a society and end these global social injustices, individuals need effective tools that have a great impact and are easy to use. This is why we are on a mission to do exactly that. Join our impact tech team and help us develop our next exciting product: a native mobile app to combat the imposter syndrome and every day sexism. Your role will include finalising the development of and then maintaining our MVP using JavaScript and React Native.
Time Commitment: approx. 2-3 hours a week for a minimum of 6 months

SPRING ACT – SOPHIA – VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
>> 👩💻 👨💻 Translators
As an ACTivist translator, you will play a crucial role in making our AI Chatbot Sophia available and relevant in multiple languages, thereby lowering the language barriers for people affected by domestic violence.
We’re looking for native speakers of the following languages: Arabic, Belarusian, Chinese Mandarin, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Tagalog, and Ukrainian to help translate/prooferead and test our Chatbot Sophia.
Time Commitment: approx. 8 hours per month for 3 months, then 2-4 hours.

Effectively reaching people who are suffering from domestic violence is at the core of our mission with chatbot Sophia. Join our communications team and help us amplify our message and reach to people impacted by domestic violence through the art of videos. Your role includes creating short videos for social media and our website educating our followers and visitors on domestic violence and what they can do to take action.
Time Commitment: approx. 2-3 hours a week for a minimum of 6 months

Last year, the team developed “Sophia” – the world’s first chatbot assisting survivors of domestic violence to gather potential evidence and seek help in 222 countries.
