OPEN POSITIONS

>> Communications / Social Media Coordinator

Join our management and coordinate our volunteer communications team to help us reach more people impacted by domestic violence. This role includes coordinating our volunteer graphic designer, copywriter (which is currently our executive director), newsletter editor, and videographer, as well as our social media calendar and posts.
Time Commitment: approx. 2-3 hours a week for a minimum of 6 months (as it is a management position)

>> Social Media Copywriter

Join our communications team and help us write effective posts and engagements to reach and empower survivors of domestic violence wherever they are in the world. This role includes copywriting short texts for our social media and working with our executive director on getting our message across.
Time Commitment: approx. 2 hours a week for a minimum of 3 months

>> Newsletter Editor

Join our communications team and co-create our monthly “NewsBytes”, where we share our milestones, educate our readers on inspiring women in tech, recommend interesting books or TedTalks, and let them know what’s coming next. This role includes putting together our newsletter on MailChimp and writing short texts on the different segments.
Time Commitment: approx. 2-3 hours a month for a minimum of 3 months

>> Video Content Creator

Join our communications team and help us amplify our message and reach to people impacted by domestic violence through the art of videos. Your role includes creating short videos for social media and our website educating our followers and visitor on domestic violence and what they can do to take action.
Time Commitment: approx. 1-2 hours a week for a minimum of 3 months

>> App Developer

Join our tech team and help us develop our next exciting product: a native mobile app to combat the imposter syndrome and every day sexism. Your role includes finalising the development of and then maintaining our MVP using JavaScript and React Native.
Time Commitment: approx. 2-3 hours a week for a minimum of 3 months

Last year, the team developed “Sophia” – the world’s first chatbot assisting survivors of domestic violence to gather potential evidence and seek help in 222 countries.
